I have held many positions during my career. Currently I am the Account Manager Small Business. I have been on the Executive of the Greater Arnprior Chamber for the past five years.

Carolyn Brown - Director

I was born in Arnprior and moved to Edmonton for 5 years after completing high school. A year after my oldest daughter, Carly was born, I returned to Arnprior to be close to my family and two years later gave birth to my daughter, Ashlyn.

I have been employed with The Co-operators since 1996 starting as a Sales Associate after receiving my General Insurance License and after obtaining my Life Insurance License now hold the position of Associate Agent. I am currently studying for my Certified Financial Planner designation.

I have been enjoying my role as a Director with the Greater Arnprior Chamber of Commerce since 2008.

Mark Nibourg - Director

After finishing my degree in environmental science in 1999, I moved to Arnprior and began managing the Kenwood Corporate Centre, a facility in my family's portfolio of businesses. I have been on the Board of Directors of the Chamber since 2003 and served as president in 2006. Currently, I am the Chair of the Economic Development Committee. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, the outdoors, reading, classic cars and antiques.

Lynn Grinstead - Director

Lynn grew up in Arnprior, and after attending George Brown College for an Architectural Drafting diploma, lived in "the big cities" working in her chosen field, but returned to Arnprior, with her husband, to settle down and raise their family. During the early years, as a stay at home mom of four boys, Lynn was always heavily involved within her church and the community. Now with the boys getting older, she rejoined the work force in 2007, and is very much enjoying working with local businesses as an Account Executive with myFM Radio, and her recent position as a Director on the Chamber board.

Leslie Osborne (nee Rafter) - Director

I was born and raised in beautiful Braeside, I attended school in Arnprior and now currently reside in the White Lake area with my husband, we have 2 beautiful children that are the highlight of my life. I have spent the past 11 years working on and off for Arnprior Aerospace (formally Boeing) before deciding in January 2009 to change career paths and work in the advertising department for The Arnprior Chronicle Guide/ Ottawa Region Media Group. My hobbies include many outdoor activities such as golfing, fishing and hunting. Which take up most of my spare time and are done as family events.

Wes Schnob - Director

I was born, raised and currently live in Arnprior with my lovely wife and two children. Partnered with Nerds on Site since 2005, we are in constant and passionate pursuit of more pleasurable, productive and profitable ways to fully leverage computers and all that's tied to them. this is my fifth year as a member of the Arnprior Chamber, and my third year on the Board of Directors. In my spare time I like spending time with my family, golfing, camping, and well playing video games. ( I am a Nerd, don't forget.)

Barry Blier - Director

A member of the GACC for the past ten years, Barry Blier has been an active member of the Arnprior community for the past twenty five years. After thirty years of teaching and administration at the secondary and elementary levels, Barry took early retirement as a Principal with the Ottawa Carleton School Board to launch two new career opportunities. Grandon Oak Associates was a successful consulting company that specialized in organizational effectiveness. The other which he coo-owns and operates with his spouse, Anne Havey, is Pineridge Children's Centre, a daycare for children from birth to twelve years of age including a Montessori program, and Acorn Academy which provides tutoring and educational assessment and advocacy for all ages.

Barry served as the Community Coordinator for the Renfrew County Early Years' Project.

Some of Barry's community involvement includes the roles of founding member and past president of L'Arche Arnprior, past Grand Knight and District Deputy of the Knights of Columbus, involvement in political associations at the provincial and federal level and participation in the White Pine Festival.

Barry continues to work with others in the community to support sustainable growth in Greater Arnprior and enhance the quality of life for children and their families.

Cheryl Sparling - GACC Administrative Assistant

I was born and raised in Arnprior where I stayed on to raise my family. I have two beautiful daughters, both of which I am very proud of. I spent the majority of my career in High Tech in Kanata. I now have a small business out of my home where I do manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing etc. I work part-time for the Greater Arnprior Chamber of Commerce. My hobbies are interior decorating, anything to do with designing backyards, flower gardens etc, camping, golf and my dog Chicklet.
